DATES: ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Workshop dates are July 2-15, 2003. PLEASE NOTE: USA
and Canada participants must depart on July 1 to arrive in Biarritz on
July 2. Plan to arrive some time after noon on Wednesday, July 2. Classes begin
on Thursday, July 3. No classes are scheduled on Tuesday, July 15 and hotel
checkout can be any time before noon. If you need to arrive earlier or stay
later, additional hotel nights can be arranged with Tori Hintz.

For professionals, travel, tuition, and living expenses are deductible on
your U.S. income tax; check with your tax consultant for further details.
ACADEMIC CREDIT
Three hours of graduate or undergraduate academic credit are available
for any of our workshops at reasonable cost through International Workshops.
Credit is provided by The University of
Maryland, one of the USA's leading research universities. You must
sign up by June 1!
OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS
On July 6 and 10, our two Free Days, exciting optional-cost excursions are planned just for
International Workshops. Destinations will include Bayonne (the chocolate
capital of France), the fishing village of St. Jean de Luz (Ravel's birthplace),
San Sebastian (Tapas Capital of the World!), and the spectacular Guggenheim Museum in
Bilbao, Spain.
SCHOLARSHIPS
A number of $1,000 scholarships have been reserved for full-time college
students and first-year teachers. Contact Tori for an
application.

This year we are pleased to announce that you may charge your workshop fee
to your Visa or Mastercard!
HOUSING
All hotel options include Continental breakfast and private bath. A selection
of charming hotels provide our entry-level housing. Or, you
can upgrade to the beautiful new 4-star Crowne Plaza
in the center of town. All hotels are a 5-15 minute walk to our Gare du Midi and
Casino workshop headquarters. We are filling our nearest hotels by earliest
postmarked applications.
DEADLINES
You are encouraged to register early, in order to assure a place for
yourself, especially in the accommodations you prefer. After May 15, a Late
Registration Surcharge of $65.00 will be added. Your registration deposit is
fully refundable until May 15, non-refundable (but held for future attendance)
thereafter. All fees are due by June 1. To lock in lowest airfares, you are wise
